"The Heart of San Francisco"
presented by Sandy Mortimer
 
A visit to the fascinating city of San Francisco
begins with a walk through Chinatown with the
largest concentration of Chinese outside of Asia.
Next, the Haight/Ashbury District is reminiscent  the hippie movement.  Nearby are the wonders of Golden Gate Park; then a trip to AT&T Park, Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz, Aquatic Park, Nob Hill and the Golden Gate Bridge.

"Around the World - One Man's Journey"
presented by Doug Jones
 
This film is a retrospective of a lifetime of travel by one of America's best known travel filmmakers.  Drawn from over a half million feet of motion picture film shot on six continents, this film follows a circuitous route around the world, stopping in the best known destinations.  The film shows the changes in the world as well as the changes in photography.

"Europe's Wild Gem - Iceland"

Wildlife cinematographer, John Wilson, and his naturalist wife, Denice Wilkins, chose this remote northern island as their location for two wildlife adventure films.  Together they spent two and a half months and 25,000 feet of film to capture the birds, the behavior, and the beauty of this jewel of a land on the edge of the Arctic Circle.

Barry Wood
 
Barry has been entertaining for over 60 years, first with his own bands, then for the past ten years as a solo artist.  His music is a mix of old pop classics, soft rock of the 50's - 70's and traditional country.  His several musical awards have come from many of the prestigious Country Music Associations, as well as recognition from the Maine House and Senate.  One of his career highlights was to perform with the legendary Les Paul!


Friday, June 22
Mary Murphy

A native of Maine, Mary has performed music all her life.  Her performances consist of jazz music, some nostalgic music of the 40's and 50's, some classic country, gospel, originals and some classical selections.  Mary's solo songs are accompanied by her playing on the piano, guitar and harmonica.
