"lincoln highway"
Presentation by Alan Elze
Long before there was a Route 66, there was a true transcontinental road that crossed America from Times Square to Lincoln Park in San Francisco. Nearly 3,400 miles through nearly 700 towns, many of which seem to still exist in the mid- 20th century. A road that not many are acquainted with, but is sure to bring memories of a time gone by.

“48 HOURS WITH A WILDERNESS RANGER”
Tim Caverly, Maine Park Ranger
Narrated by retired Allagash Waterway Supervisor Tim Caverly, the audience will travel virtually deep into the Maine woods. There, the viewers will learn legends, hear lore and experience the many challenges that backcountry rangers face every day. Caverly, with the support of his wife Susan and Golden Retriever Sandi, has self-published ten books. Their presentations are always both informative and fun!

ERICA BROWN: JOSEPHINE COUNTY
This show is more than a combination of four powerful traditional musicians. It is a gathering of friends, sharing their expertise, knowledge and enthusiasm for music ranging from the United States to French Canada to Ireland and back! The group is comprised of award-winning fiddler and singer Erica Brown, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Matt Shipman, traditional Irish flute player and singer Hanz Araki and one of the finest interpreters of traditional songs of her generation, Colleen Raney.

Denny Breau
He first draws in an audience with a finely arranged melody and then slides effortlessly into scorching fingerwork that sets ears aflame! Breau’s rhythmically flawless and dazzlingly clear style allow him to do amazing things with a six-string guitar. Denny mixes genres with ease – folk, Delta blues, country and jazz.

Mollyockett Chorus
The local group of women singers come from a wide geographical area in southwestern Maine. The group sings barbershop style a cappella harmony in four parts: tenor, lead, baritone and bass. The name honors Mollyockett, a Pequawket Native American who was born sometime between 1730 and 1740. She was a healer, an artisan, storyteller and friend of settlers in the region.

Barney Martin
Barney has been a multi-talented actor, voice actor, comedian, and singer-songwriter for over 40 years. After 2 decades with his band Coos Canyon and comedy trio The Maine Hysterical Society, he is back to his solo acoustic roots performing a collective of classic songs as well as a tribute to James Taylor – a must see for all JT fans.

GREENE VILLAGE NATURE TRAIL WALK
Join us for an afternoon of local outdoor fun! We begin at the Sawyer Memorial for a brief presentation from the Greene Nature Trails. Afterwards, join us for a walk on the trails over at the Greene Recreational Park! We will explore the trails and refreshments will be served for all those who attend! Trail walking is not mandatory and there is easy accessibility to the location where refreshments and good times will be had. Seating will be provided.

ERICA BROWN & THE BLUEGRASS CONNECTION
Erica Brown and The Bluegrass Connection is a five-piece band featuring some of the finest musicians in New England. The band features award winning fiddler and singer Erica Brown, Matt Shipman on mandolin, Lincoln Meyers on guitar, Eli Gilbert on banjo and Kris Day on bass. They are energetic, fun and diverse as they incorporate music from the traditional Bluegrass, Folk and Country repertoire as well as French Canadian fiddle music and original songs.

Michael Menes
Michael Menes (pronounced Men•ness) is a contemporary vaudevillian who has performed all over the world. A juggler for over 30 years, Michael has performed in festivals, theaters, television, and on a dozen luxury cruise lines including Disney Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean and Holland America Line. Michael’s television credits include appearing on the SOLTROM SERIES produced by CIRQUE du SOLEIL for the Bravo Channel, three appearances on French TV Variety Show “Le Grande Cabaret du Monde” in Paris, JUST FOR LAUGHS in Montreal, and on the “INTERNATIONAL HUMOR FESTIVAL” TV Special on CCTV in Beijing, China, a program that aired to over 200 million people across Asia. When not on tour, Michael makes his home in the Oxford Hills Region of Western Maine where he has his own retreat and arts studio for creating shows, directing and workshopping called The Eureka Arts Retreat (www.eurekaretreat.com).

Food Truck Social
Stop by for an afternoon of great entertainment and fun! Local food trucks will descend on our large parking lot ready to share their cuisine with you. Come listen to live music as the Pond Lilies perform Celtic, Acadian and other enchanting melodies. There will be games, prizes and so much more! The first 100 people to attend will receive a $5 voucher to use at any of the food trucks for this event. Bring the family, bring yourself, but you do not want to miss this one! Seating will be provided. This event is rain or shine.

Pam Weeks and Bill Olson
Weeks and Olson do a wonderful job of engaging the audience (of any age) in a concert setting. They have played for large groups and small; young and old; at folk clubs, in schools, at festivals, and resorts. The two have been singing together for over 20 years. Their song repertoire includes acappella numbers which include sea shanteys, old time southern Appalachian songs, Quebecois call and response songs, Maine and New England songs, and songs from other genres including doo wop, old English, Country, Cajun, Zydeco. In a concert it is not unusual to have 14 or 15 instruments on stage: fiddles, guitars, accordions, banjo, mountain dulcimer, cello, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, piano, ukulele, bass, flute and saxophone. They play instrumental tunes from several genres including tunes from Quebec and the Canadian Maritimes, the British Isles, Cajun Louisiana, New England, old time southern Appalachian tunes, and finally original tunes written by fiddler Pam Weeks.

NEW RELM
What happens when modern country-rock, honky-tonk, blues and bluegrass collide? You get a diverse, yet dynamic, blend of music and instrumentation. The band plays both catchy originals and cover tunes. Original members and partners for eleven years thus far, Harold Olmstead II and Elise Sproul are known for entertaining performances, tight harmonies, versatility and evocative vocals. Many of their songs have a western or rural theme. Some send a message, while others encompass Maine’s history and life in Maine.

“HONORING OUR WISDOM” MAGDALANA SIEGEL
Accepting ourselves without diminishing or eroding our self-worth. Claiming and celebrating our seasoned knowledge and the threads of wisdom woven into our lives. This program is part of a larger topic series that has been presented at many community centers and independent and assisted living homes. The unique discussion series is designed to support the emotional wellbeing and the enhancement of dignity for seniors as well as those of all ages. Siegel is a consultant with many years as a therapist, public speaker and discussion leader.
